Registration to the ECIS conference includes participation to all sessions, exhibitions, lunches, coffee breaks, excursion, social evening, and documentation. Registered ECIS 2007 participants may additionally participate at the one-day COST D43 workshop without additional fees.

On site registration: Registration after July 15: On site rate applies. You may also register on site during the conference hours. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted.
ECIS and IACIS member: By choosing this registration option, the conference participant either extends her or his existing ECIS and IACIS memberships by one year or becomes a new ECIS and IACIS member.
COST D43 workshop: Registered ECIS 2007 participants may additionally participate at the one day COST D43 workshop without additional fees. The workshop participation is encouraged.
PhD student : To qualify for the reduced PhD registration fee, the applicants must submit 1) their CV, and 2) a letter from the professor supervising their PhD, with attestation that the applicant works on a PhD and explain why funds are unavailable to cover the whole registration fee. All documents must contain detailed contact information of the applicant and the professor and must be sent by email as a single attachment in pdf-format to email@example.com with “Request for ECIS 2007 PhD Stipend” as subject. No other formats are accepted. The applications are regularly reviewed by the organizing committee based on the scientific quality of the candidates and presentation of credible reasons for the need of support. Each request will be treated within two weeks. For those who qualify, the stipends are assigned on a first-comes first-served basis. These stipends are initially limited to 80 in total, so apply early. Additional stipends may become available as registration proceeds.
Accompanying person: A registered ECIS participant may be accompanied by several persons. An accompanying person may participate in all social events and exhibitions. The registration for accompanying persons includes lunches and coffee breaks, but denies access to the technical sessions.
Wednesday afternoon, September 12, 2007: This afternoon is free and several social events are proposed. You may participate either at an excursion to CERN, or to the United Nations (UN) Office or the Red Cross Museum, but you must choose between an excursion to CERN, UN or having the afternoon free. For the CERN excursion a valid identity card or visa to cross the Swiss-French border is required.
Participation to the excursions is free, but note that the number of places for all excursions is limited, so apply early. The places are assigned on a first-comes first-served basis. If the number of participants for an individual excursion turns out to be too low, the organizers reserve the right to cancel an excursion or to combine them.
